Melina Sauermann is a queer photographer, published poet, and podcast host from Hamburg, Germany. With a passion for capturing moments, she began exploring photography at a young age and has always been captivated by the art of freezing a moment in time or revealing her unique perspective of others through her lens. After completing her studies and earning a degree in photography, she now works professionally as a portrait and concert photographer.

In addition to her photography, Melina is also a podcast host. She is one of the hosts of the girl stuff podcast, a digital platform that spotlights standout Gen Z talent in entertainment and beyond. Over the past year, she’s been rebranding the podcast to better reflect its evolving style and the interests of a growing audience. With a focus on creating a relaxed, authentic space, Girl Stuff allows creatives to share their stories on their own terms, free from the constraints of traditional press interviews. 

And she also  hosts we stay for breakfast, a podcast that feels like a warm hug and a heart-to-heart FaceTime with a friend. In each episode, Melina invites you to slow down, grab a cozy drink, and dive into real, unfiltered conversations about life’s highs, lows, and everything in between.

In February 2024, Melina reached a new creative milestone by publishing her debut poetry collection, well sh!t, a bold exploration of identity, resilience, and self-discovery.
